Version v001
This is the first version of the route. It has a total distance of about 6,475km and elevation gain of 150,000m.
- Section CZ (680km) is based on public tracks, like the 1000 miles adventure or various GPS recordings
- Section DE (1440km, Freistadt in Austria, Germany, to Dalaas in Austria) was hand-routed and includes the hiking trail "Europäischer Wasserscheideweg". A connection with the Bike-Crossing Schwäbische Alb is imaginable
- Sections CH and FR are combinations from various Alp crossings, many published cycling tracks and hand-routed connecting tracks.
- In Spain the Camino de Santiago and parts of the Trans-Andalus were integrated.
